Sofia Mukamal is from Miami, Florida, and is majoring in Neuroscience at Duke University. She enjoys being part of the Duke Eating Disorder Lab because it allows her to combine her academic interests with her passion for helping kids. She is especially motivated by the lab’s mission to better understand eating disorders and improve the lives of children and families affected by them.
