His current research interests are determining the best spot to lay in the grass and the most effective shape, size, and flavor of stick that the world has to offer. His hobbies include giving you paw, smelling the wind, cuddling, eating peanut butter, and looking incredibly handsome.

Julia Gianneschi, B.A.
Clinical Research Specialist, Sr.

Julia supports the Duke Center for Eating Disorders as a Clinical Research Specialist, Sr. She graduated from Duke University in May of 2021 with a major in psychology, a minor in Spanish, and a certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. During her time in undergrad, Julia also served as a captain for Duke's Division I varsity fencing team. Julia is interested in studying the connection between eating disorders and anxiety disorders during her time at DCED. She hopes to attend graduate school for clinical psychology in the near future. Outside of research, Julia works as a youth fencing coach, enjoys going to the gym, and loves to pet any dogs that come her way.
