Hi there! My name is Joleen Vansomphone, and I am currently a Junior at Huntington Beach High School in CA. I am passionate about the behavioral sciences, especially surrounding youth mental health and the impact of eating disorders in adolescence. Through my love for data science and psychology, I hope to further my understanding of mental illness and help develop interventions and preventions for eating disorders. I am beyond excited to be a part of the DCED and assist in research with the lab. Outside of school, I love to paint, read science fiction, and play the guitar.
