Gaurie Mittal
Former Project Lead
Gaurie is a recent graduate of Duke University, where she majored in psychology and minored in chemistry. She worked in the Duke Center for Eating Disorders as an undergraduate volunteer, during which she ran participants for the Food Preoccupation study and wrote an undergraduate thesis investigating the sensory preferences of children with ARFID. She is currently working as the lab manager and clinical research specialist on the FBI study, while applying to clinical psychology doctorate programs. Outside of the lab, her hobbies include dancing, cooking, and eating her way through Durham.
